The H Hotel enjoys a prime location on Sheikh Zayed Road, opposite the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The 5-star hotel offers 240 rooms and suites spread over 33 floors. Other features include 8 restaurants and lounges, numerous retail outlets, a business centre, ballroom and meeting rooms.
The hotel also boasts a luxury health club and spa, offering a swimming pool, 10 treatment rooms, gym, Jacuzzi and steam rooms.
The World Trade Centre Metro Station is just a short walk from the hotel, giving rapid access to most areas of Dubai.
Until 2012 the hotel traded as the Monarch Hotel.
If there is anyone deserving a very particular thank you, then it must be all the staff of the Monarch, including the GM Mr. Hening Fries, under whom we all worked for 2 years. It was actually the best two years I had ever had in my life so far. I am actually working and living in my mother country, Morocco, yet, the environment, the atmosphere, the motivation is not up to the level of the Monarch Dubai. To be more honest not only with you but with myself, there is a huge difference in anything between the Monarch and where I am working currently. For this reason, I am personally advising the remaining staff not to leave.
The room was huge and the service was absolutely first class in every department.
The Monarch is an absolutely brilliant hotel. It’s much more than a 5 star. To me it was like a 6 star. Everything was superb and classy.
I was there in June 2008. My stay was so nice. The rooms are beautiful and every thing was perfect. The staff are great, especially the receptionist "Farid" with his great smile. Thanks all.
The Monarch has a great location. The lobby and the atmosphere is outstanding. It has the best rooms in the UAE in my opinion. A genuine 5 star hotel.
I have been to endless hotels that all claim to be 5 star, but to experience 5 star service you have to stay at the Monarch. I was simply amazed to see the attention to detail from all staff, particularly the housekeeping.The lobby is a sight to see in the evening. Hats off the housekeeping.
Great location, fantastic room, outstanding service. Don’t know where to begin really, it was just perfect from start to finish and easily surpassed all my expectations. Don’t know how many personnel they have working here, but you never had to wait for anything, they didn’t make any mistakes, and everything was done with a smile. Highly recommended.
What a brilliant place to stay. First of all the location is perfect, especially if you want to be near the World Trade Centre as we did. Then, in the hotel itself, the room was beautifully appointed, the service was magnificent, and the eating, drinking, shopping, and leisure facilities were simply fantastic. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
I read some of the glowing reviews before staying here and to be honest I was a bit sceptical. I needn’t have been. It was everything it had promised to be and more. The room was huge and the service was absolutely first class in every department. I can’t wait to return.
This place would give most 5 star hotels in the world a run for their money. Really excellent!
We were collected from the airport in a nice big BMW. When we entered the room it was absolutely massive and had everything we required. You even get your own private butler who packs and unpacks for you among other things. We gave a polite no thank you for this service, but he will help you in any way he can and is also a useful source of information.
The hotel is really amazing, great work by the architect. I was there during the Arabian Travel Market 4th May 2008.
I visited the Monarch for a look around to see if I could recommend to my associates when we are back here on business.
The hotel interior design is amazing and the entry to the restaurants (when open) look like you are walking through an ice sculpture.
There was a wonderful smell in the lobby as well which added to the entire ambience.
I was visiting the UAE and I walked in and passed through Monarch Hotel lobby. Very nice. Being all the way from Canada and trying to beat the cold I miss Dubai. Wish I would have had the luxury to spend sometime at Monarch. Hopefully when I get a full time job and return to the UAE.

Monarch Hotel will presumably be the busiest business hotel and convention center in Dubai by 2008 with its strategic location.
