Dubai Museum

The Al Fahidi Fort was built around 1799 to defend Dubai against invasion and is probably the oldest building in the city. Beautifully restored in the 1993 it now houses the Dubai Museum and offers a fascinating insight into the city’s heritage and culture.

In 1998 I visited Dubai for the first time and enjoyed a visit to the museum. My daughter and I spent a whole after-noon there and we found it was not enough time. There was so much to see! It would be nice if you could show a picture of the Al Fahidi Fort Museum!
