Visitors expecting a strict Islamic city will be pleasantly surprised to find that Dubai’s nightlife rivals that of many western cities. The city is teeming with pubs, bar and clubs though alcohol regulations mean that most are attached to hotels or clubs. Drinks aren’t cheap, though most bars offer happy hours and other promotions such as ladies’ nights.
