Dubai Hotels

In February 2011 Dubai Online had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Al Barsha.

We made a video showing some of the key features and facilities found at the hotel.

The video begins with footage of the hotel lobby and reception. Check out the fantastic glass elevators. They offer great views of the hotel’s magnificent atrium.

Leisure facilities include a gym/fitness centre and rooftop swimming pool. There’s also a good selection of restaurants including Thai, European, Japanese, and Lebanese.

The hotel enjoys a great location on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Al Barsha. The Mall of the Emirates and Ski Dubai are just a short walk from the property.

In February 2011 we stayed at the Splendid Hotel Apartments in Dubai. These serviced hotel apartments are situated in the Oud Metha area of Dubai, just across the road from the Lamcy Plaza. Over 100 apartments and studios are available.

In February 2011 we stayed at the Corp Executive Hotel Apartments. These modern hotel apartments are situated in the Al Barsha district of Dubai, very close to the Mall of the Emirates and Ski Dubai.

The hotel is a modern property with 109 one-bedroom and 39 two-bedroom serviced apartments.

The video begins with footage of the hotel reception, located on the ground floor. It then shows a 2 bedroom apartment and a 1 bedroom apartment.

The hotel has several places to eat and drink. Caffeine is a lounge on the ground floor while Mood, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, is on the first floor.

Leisure facilities at the hotel include a fitness centre and rooftop swimming pool. Several meeting and conference rooms are also available.

This video shows the accommodation and facilities at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa. There are two hotels at the property, the Palm Tree Court and the Jebel Ali Hotel. Resort facilities are available to guests of either hotel.

The video begins with shots of the exteriors of both hotels and the landscaped gardens at the resort. Note the waterfalls, pools, and roaming peacocks.

It then moves on to show a Junior Suite at the Palm Tree Court. Note the spacious room, flat screen TV, and luxurious bathroom. A Standard Room at the Jebel Ali Hotel is also show. It features a work desk, seating area, en-suite bathroom, and balcony.

There are 15 restaurants and bars at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort. The video shows the White Orchid, La Fontana, and the Sports Café.

The video finishes with some of the extensive leisure facilities at the resort. These include a spa, marina, water sports centre, golf course, shooting club, and horse riding.

In February 2011 stayed at the Oasis Beach Tower at The Walk, Dubai Marina/Jumeirah Beach Residence.

This video shows some of the facilities found at these luxury serviced apartments.

It starts with an exterior view of the hotel tower and then shows the reception/lobby area on the ground floor.

Leisure facilities include several outdoor heated swimming pools and a fitness centre. The fitness centre boasts plenty of modern exercise machines and offers a fantastic panoramic view of the ocean and Palm Jumeirah.

The video then shows the Thyme Restaurant & Bar. It was shot during lunchtime when an extensive buffet is offered.

The sheer height of the 45-storey tower can be seen in the footage taken from one of the glass elevators. Take a trip for great views of Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach Residence.

The 4-bedroom apartment shown in the video features a living area with flat screen TV, music centre, dining area, and kitchen. Each of the 4 bedrooms also offers a flat screen TV.

The video ends with some of the attractions and sights found near the Oasis Beach Tower. These include The Walk, Dubai Marina Mall, Dubai Marina Yacht Club, and Dubai Marina.

In January 2011 we stayed at this Layia Plaza Hotel in Dubai. This video review shows some of the main features of the hotel.

The video starts with an exterior shot of the hotel. The hotel is situated on Damascus Road in the Al Qusais area of Dubai.

The hotel’s reception and lobby is situated on the ground floor.

232 rooms and suites are available. The accommodation shown in the video is a standard room. It offers a king size bed, flat screen TV, work desk, internet access, safe deposit box, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Leisure facilities at the hotel include a rooftop swimming pool (with pool bar) and fitness centre.

The video then shows two of the hotel’s restaurants; Brio and the Courtyard Café. Both are located on the ground floor of the hotel. Brio is the hotel’s all day dining restaurant while the Courtyard café is a relaxing space behind the reception area offering teas, coffees, and pastries.

The video then shows one of three meeting rooms available at the Layia Plaza Hotel and finishes with some footage of planes taking off from Dubai International Airport.

In February 2011 we stayed at the Bonnington Hotel in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai. This video review shows some of the key features found at the hotel.

The video begins with an exterior shot of the 5-star hotel. You can see that the hotel is situated within a 40 storey skyscraper.

The video then shows the hotel reception on the ground floor before moving on to the hotel’s main restaurant, the Cavendish. The restaurant was filmed during the lunchtime buffet.

The video then moves on to show some of the bars and lounges at Bonnington; Healey’s Bar, McGettigan’s Irish Bar, and the Authors’ Lounge.

The hotel’s Leisure Deck features a fully-equipped gym, swimming pool, and bar. Note the unique open sided nature of the Leisure Deck and the great views of Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

The Business Club & Lounge caters to the business traveller and features meeting and conference rooms, internet facilities and more.

The video then shows one of the hotel’s Deluxe Rooms. Note the contemporary décor and modern facilities such as a flat-screen TV.

The video finishes with some of the sights and attractions found near the hotel. It includes shots of the Jumeirah Lakes Towers Metro Station (shot from the Leisure Deck), The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence, the Dubai Marina Mall, Dubai Marina Yacht Club, and Dubai Marina.

In February 2011 Dubai Online stayed at the Layia Oak Hotel in Dubai. We made a video of the hotel highlighting some of the main features.

The video begins with an exterior shot of the hotel. As can clearly be seen it is a large property with 161 rooms.

On entering the hotel, reception is found immediately to the left of the entrance. To the right is Petals all-day dining restaurant. At the rear of the lobby is the Vanilla Café where guests can relax and enjoy coffees, teas and pastries.

The video then shows Petals Restaurant. We stayed for lunch and enjoyed an excellent buffet.

Leisure facilities at the hotel include a fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool. The fitness centre boasts a good selection of equipment including running machines and free weights. The pool is large and offers plenty of loungers. There’s also a children’s pool here. Waves Pool Lounge is also here.

The video then shows one of the modern meeting rooms offered at the property.

At the end of the video you can see one of the three-bedroom suites available at the hotel. It offers a large lounge with flat screen TV, work desk, dining area.
