This video shows some of the features at the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.

These include the world’s largest acrylic viewing panel, a 270 degree glass walkthrough tunnel, and 33,000 aquatic animals including 400 sharks and rays.

The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is at the Dubai Mall, Downtown Burj Dubai.

This video shows the Shark Dive Experience offered at the Dubai Aquarium.

The experience is open to both certified and non-certified divers and is run by Al Boom Diving. Three dives are offered every day. Prices are currently AED 625 for certified divers and AED 825 for non-certified divers.

The Dubai Aquarium is located at Emaar’s Dubai Mall, in Downtown Burj Dubai.

This video shows the Dubai Mall Waterfall and Waterfront Promenade.

The 24 metre high waterfall spans 4 levels of the mall and is situated at the southern end of the development, close to the Address Downtown Burj Dubai hotel.

Close by is the Waterfront Promenade, an area packed with restaurants overlooking the spectacular Dubai Fountain.

This video shows the Gold Souk at the Dubai Mall in Downtown Burj Dubai.

The Gold Souk boasts over 200 gold and jewellery shops. At its centre is a massive atrium with domed ceiling featuring multimedia displays.

The opening hours for the Dubai Mall are currently:

• Thursday to Saturday – 10 am until midnight
• Sunday to Wednesday – 10 am until 10 pm

The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is open the same hours as the mall, with last admission to the Aquarium Tunnel is 15 minutes before closing and last admission to the Underwater Zoo 1 hour before closing.

Opening times for the Dubai Ice Rink are currently:

• Thursday to Saturday – 10.15 am until 11.45 pm
• Sunday to Wednesday – 10 am until 10 pm

The Shark Dive Experience was launched on May 9 2009. Divers are accompanied by qualified instructors from Al Boom Diving.

The Dubai Aquarium is home to more than 33,000 marine animals and is one of the largest aquariums in the world. It is situated at the Dubai Mall in Downtown Burj Dubai.

On May 9 2009 the Dubai Mall was officially opened by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The highlight of the opening ceremony was the unveiling of the Dubai Fountain.
