Electricity
The electrical current in Dubai is 220/240 V, 50 Hz AC. British-style 3-pin electrical plugs are used (Type G or 13 amp plug).
Socket adaptors are readily available in local stores. In fact most electrical goods sold in Dubai have European 2-pin plugs.
The same power system is used throughout the United Arab Emirates.
