Dubai Weather

Dubai has a sub-tropical, arid climate. The summer months (May to September) are hot and humid, with daytime temperatures in the low 40s (Celsius).

During the winter (December to February), the average daytime temperature is in the mid-20s. Rain is rare and intermittent, with an annual average rainfall of only 7cm.

I went there last April. The weather was tolerable, the place is nice and the people are a cultured lot. Disciplined and friendly too.

Dubai is nice, to me, i went in june and july, out in the desert at night its freezing but during the day its really hot its humid as well but i liked it..... GO DUBAI

If you can't stand it really hot, don't go in the summer. It is so hot (and humid) the hotels actually cool the pools down.

Don't bother packing any jackets. You won't need them and are only wasting space in your suitcase.

One additional benefit of the climate is that you don't get any flies and mosquitos in Dubai, so outdoor dining is quite pleasant in the evening.

In the summer (Jun - Sep) it really is too hot. Many residents who can, go elsewhere for the summer.

Over the next couple of years the government are building around 1,500 air-conditioned bus shelters that will enable passengers to escape Dubai's intense heat. They hope this will encourage the use of public transport and reduce traffic congestion.
