You could argue that this hotel is now looking a little tired in some respects in comparison to some of its more illustrious neighbours, but this is reflected in the price which makes this an ideal place to stay in certain circumstances eg. business trips.
Everything is under one roof, which makes this a perfect choice especially if you are here on business.
I spent some time in this hotel recently on business and would recommend it most highly. The service was outstanding and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever encountered. There are excellent eating and drinking options, both in the hotel itself and in the Emirates hotel opposite where you can watch the world go by from the 50th floor.
Great location for the World Trade Centre and only a short taxi ride to the beach. Service is quick, friendly and efficient and there is a plethora of eating places in the immediate vicinity. Going to and coming from the airport is also very good as there is a shuttle service. Highly recommended.
I have stayed here twice and was quite amazed when they remembered me the second time as my first stay was very short. On top of that they made a real fuss of me with complimentary gifts. There is also excellent entertainment to be had in hotel's nightclub.
There's lots of entertainment at the Crowne Plaza including comedy shows, plays etc.
