Express by Holiday Inn, Dubai Internet City

Internet slow... carpet and sofa very worn and soiled...food options incredibly limited. With construction in the area - hard for cabs to get in and out. Staff was passable - nobody went above and beyond. The only reason to stay here would be the convenience to your location.

Great value and offering an excellent panoramic view from the excellent Vista rooftop restaurant.

This hotel might not seem very luxurious by Dubai standards, but as a frequent visitor to Express By Holiday Inn hotels I can say with some authority that this is probably the best one I have ever stayed at. The room was spotless and very reasonably priced, and the staff were extremely friendly and obliging.

Okay, this is not a 5 star hotel, but the price isn't 5 star either. They provide everything most people want and the staff are friendly and courteous. You can eat a delicious meal in the rooftop restaurant, whilst observing the new marina and it is also handy for shopping at the Emirates Mall.

This hotel is very good value for money as Dubai can be very expensive sometimes. My room was spacious, very clean, and tastefully furnished and the staff really tried their best to make my stay as pleasant as possible. My only small complaint is that there is only a cold breakfast option. Overall though I would still recommend this place.

This is a new, clean, modern hotel with friendly, polite, and accommodating staff. The rooftop bar is excellent to get away from it all. One downside however is that internet access is relatively slow and quite expensive into the bargain.

Depending on what you expect from a hotel you may or may not be disappointed.
Communication is a serious issue here, with very few people speaking enough English to convey the simplest of requests.
Whilst the internet in Dubai is not the best at times, the hotels own internet system is absolutely horrific. Costing over 100DHM per day, and offering patchy access at the best of times, a very slow link shared by everybody in the hotel is not what I would describe as "broadband".
The rooms however are neat, clean and liveable. If all you are looking for is a place to rest your head in the evening - then the hotel is fine. If you are a business traveller - look elsewhere.
