Great location in the heart of Deira. I thought the room was also very good; the bed was incredibly comfortable and the housekeeping staff really did their utmost to keep you happy. There were other nice touches like complimentary dates and coffee in the lobby, which by the way is quite spectacular, and you can also listen to live music without leaving the hotel. I had a very enjoyable stay.

The room was great and contained lots of little extras like bathrobes and slippers. I was also very pleased with the level of service. The staff really couldn't do enough for you. The food I tried was excellent, especially the buffet and the outdoor pool area provided an excellent place to relax. Exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it.

Not the Burj, but a good solid choice and significantly cheaper. Definitely worth a look.

The room was spacious and clean and the TV had a very good selection. At least one mall was within easy walking distance, but taxis were plentiful and cheap if you preferred that mode of transport. There are a couple of excellent buffet restaurants which are very reasonably priced and the staff who dealt with me were very polite and professional. I would stay here again.

There are probably better 5 star hotels, but this one is very handy for the airport. The room was comfortable and clean at an affordable price, and I really enjoyed the power shower. The staff were friendly and helpful and I found the pool area particularly relaxing. Everything considered this is quite a nice place to stay.

The Spice Island buffet is excellent. You can eat and drink as much as you want. There are many different kinds of foods. Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Arab, Indian etc. The Tiki Bar also does great cocktails and has live music. Leisure facilities are great too. There's a large outdoor pool and a pretty good gym. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is close to the airport and is ideal if you are on a business trip to Dubai. The bed in my room was extremely comfortable and very welcome after a long flight.
The Spice Island Restaurant offers a great buffet with food from all corners of the world (and plenty of it!). The Hamarain Centre shopping mall is just a few blocks away.
All in all, the Renaissance is a fine hotel.
