Senior Structural Engineers are invited to apply for a leading role in an International Engineering Company.

Duties include:

• Ensure implementation of safety and integrity principles in company structural documentation
• Enforce compliance with all pertinent engineering standards and internal procedures for all design activities
• Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge to ensure appropriate technologies are incorporated into designs and that the most cost effective design techniques are utilized
• Lead capital projects and operations support projects from proposal stage through to close out
• Lead the structural design team including engineers and designers
• Accept authority to sign off IFC drawings
• Ensure project work meets or exceeds the Client’s expectations
• Maintain structural engineering work procedures, specifications and computer aided design programs
• Client needs analysis and the preparation of Scopes
• Assist in the development of Graduate Engineers

Requirements:

• A recognized Civil / Structural Engineering Degree
• Structural design experience is essential
• Strong customer focus
• Firm knowledge of design codes
• Demonstrable ability to work well within multi discipline project teams
• RPEQ eligible
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
