A leading Gulf based contracting company has 2 vacancies for the role of Senior Scaffolding Erectors.

Duties include:

• Directing, leading and training a multicultural workforce in scaffolding systems.
• Reading scaffold design drawings and construct scaffolds as required to provide support to formwork on bridges, under and over ground structures.
• Introducing and implementing a scaff tag system on all sites as well as a full inspection regime and record system.
• Risk assessments and method statements.
• Training Engineers and Foremen in the inspection requirements.

Requirements:

• A person who is a time served scaffolder.
• Holder of a CITB certificate for advanced scaffolding and inspection of scaffolding.
• At least 10 years extensive experience of working in construction, offshore and heavy industries providing safe complex scaffolds using various scaffold systems
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skills
• UAE driving license would be advantageous
• Night working will be required occasionally on critical projects
