A pioneering “Special Category” construction organization invites suitably qualified individuals to apply for the position of Planning Engineer.

Duties include:

• Preparing the project’s master plan along with resource allocation
• Identifying the critical activity and problem area in advance in order to ensure effective action
• Prepare material, manpower and machinery requirements and their schedule
• Working with the Project Manager and the Cost Control Manager to establish the project’s budget
• Monitoring projects’ actual progress and cost through established reporting system
• Preparing the project’s weekly and monthly reports regarding actual versus planned and forecast its effect on project overall completion as well as cost versus budget
• Liaise with the client and the consultant regarding the project’s schedule and execution plan.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• 10 to 15 years of experience in civil contracting
• Primavera P3 and MS Office application expert
• Experience in UAE or Gulf is an added advantage
