A leading contactor in the Gulf Region seeks the services of a suitably experienced Mechanical Engineering individual to fill the role of Deputy Plant & Transport Manager

Duties include:

• The role would involve working closely with the Group Plant & Transport Manager
• Responsibilities include overall human and plant resources and financial program of the Plant Department
• Monitor performance and repairs and maintenance of all road construction equipment, heavy vehicles, earthmoving equipment, Asphalt Plants, Batching Plants and Wet Mix Plants, approval of local procurement of spares, ensure implementation of ISO Quality System in the department, etc.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years experience in a similar position
• Candidate must be fluent in English
