Al Furjan

Al Furjan is a residential development by Nakheel located just south of the Gardens. It was announced in August 2007, replacing the Lost City development, and covers an area of approximately 560 hectares.

The development will include four communities, each with its own village centre. The total population of Al Furjan is expected to be around 90,000.

Real Estate - Villas & Townhouses

Over 4,000 villas and townhouses are planned. Townhouses feature 3 bedrooms, while villas are available with 3, 5, and 6 bedrooms. Nakheel claims that homes will be complete by mid-2010.

Shopping

Each of the four communities will have a village centre with shops, cafes etc. The Ibn Battuta Mall is just north of the development.

Attractions & Entertainment

There is a 21-screen cinema at the Ibn Battuta Mall.

Schools

Two schools are planned at Al Furjan.
