Al Sufouh
Al Sufouh is an area in western Dubai, bordered by the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Al Barsha, and Emirates Hills. It is home to a number of free zones such as Dubai Knowledge Village, Dubai Internet City, and Dubai Media City.
Hotels
There are plenty of hotels in Al Sufouh; the Al Qasr, the Express by Holiday Inn, the Radisson SAS Dubai Media City, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort, One&Only Royal Mirage, and the Palm Hotel. Openings in 2008 include the Media Rotana Hotel and the Bavaria Executive Suites, a massive all-suite hotel.
Real Estate
In stark contrast to the apartment towers of its neighbour the Dubai Marina, residential properties in Al Sufouh are mainly expensive villas.
Shopping
Shopping malls in and around Al Sufouh include the Souk Madinat Jumeirah and the Mall of the Emirates.
Attractions & Entertainment
There are plenty of entertainment options nearby such as the Wild Wadi Water Park and the cinema, indoor ski centre, and amusement park at the Mall of the Emirates. The two golf courses at Emirates Hills are also close.
Schools
Al Sufouh offers a good selection of schools and colleges, many of which are found at Dubai Knowledge Village.
