Al Wasl is a residential area in west Dubai situated between Jumeirah, Al Safa, and Business Bay.

Hotels in Al Wasl include the Holiday Inn Express Dubai Safa Park, a budget 2-star property, and the Villa Rotana, an apartment hotel.

There’s more choices close by in Downtown Dubai (The Palace, Qamardeen, Al Manzil, Armani etc.) and the Trade Centre/Sheikh Zayed area (Crowne Plaza, Fairmont, Emirates Towers etc.).

Residences are predominantly high-priced villas.

Shopping

There’s a wealth of shops and malls in adjacent areas such as Jumeirah (Town Centre Jumeirah, Mercato, Union Co-Op, Choithram etc.) and Al Safa (Park n Shop, Spinneys) and Downtown Dubai (Dubai Mall and Souk Al Bahar).

There’s a great selection of restaurants and bars at the Souk Al Bahar and the Dubai Mall in Downtown Dubai.

Attractions & Entertainment

Safa Park is an urban park and one of Dubai’s most pleasant open spaces. It offers tennis and basketball courts, a fairground, boating lake, perimeter running track, barbeque areas, bike rentals, and a pavilion with video games.

Schools in Al Wasl include the Horizon School, a British primary school, and the Dubai Japanese School.

Transport

The Dubai Metro Red Line runs along the Sheikh Zayed Road. The stations serving Al Wasl are the Business Bay Metro Station and the Burj Khalifa Dubai Mall Metro Station.
