Discovery Gardens
Following the success of their adjacent Gardens development, Nakheel launched the Discovery Gardens in 2004. This residential apartment project consists of six themed communities covering a 26 million square foot plot. Handover of the apartments is expected to begin mid-2008.

Discovery Gardens is a residential community. The closest hotel will be the Movenpick Ibn Battuta Hotel.

There is a 21-screen cinema at the Ibn Battuta Mall.
Schools
Local schools include the Winchester School and Jebel Ali Primary School.
