Burj Dubai behind schedule

February 2nd, 2007

Developers Emaar have admitted that the Burj Dubai, anticipated to be the world’s tallest building, is currently months behind schedule. The delay has been caused by the manufacturer of the external cladding going bankrupt. Management are still confident that the construction schedule will recover and the building will be complete by the end of 2008 as planned. The Burj Dubai currently stands at 103 floors.
