Columbian pop sensation Shakira will perform at the Dubai Autodrome on March 23 as part of her Oral Sensation Tour. Around 25,000 people are expected to attend the concert.

Chrissie Hynde’s The Pretenders will be performing at the Irish Village, Dubai Aviation Club, on February 9. The band gained fame in the eighties with hits such as Brass in Pocket and Back on the Chain Gang.

‘Bachelor Boy’ Cliff Richard will be performing at the Aviation Club’s Dubai Tennis Stadium on February 2 2007. In the unlikely event of rain, Cliff will give his performance from the stands.

UK DJ Jon Carter will be spinning at the Apartment, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, tonight.

Acclaimed Italian house DJ Benny Benassi will be appearing at Trilogy, at the Souk Madinat Jumeirah on December 1.

Hed Kandi DJs Paul Hill and Phil Faversham will appear at Trilogy at the Souk Madinat Jumeirah on September 8th.

September 7th sees Danny Rampling perform at Trilogy at the Souk Madinat Jumeirah. The British DJ is widely acknowledged as one of the founders of the UK house music scene.

On September 7th Dubai will play host to one of the biggest Asian concerts ever held in the Middle East. Blowout 2006 boasts an impressive of some of the biggest names in the Asian music industry including the Rishi Rich Project, Raghav and Atif Aslam. The event will be staged at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre and is organised by M&M Entertainment.
