Dubai to double bus fleet

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority is purchasing 620 buses in a bid to increase public transport usage and reduce traffic jams. The new buses will include 170 double-decker buses and will bring Dubai’s total fleet to 1,200 by the end of 2008.
