Emirates to fly from Dubai to Houston

Emirates have announced the launch of flights from Dubai to Houston, starting December 3 2007. The service will initial operate 3 times a week before switching to a daily schedule on February 1 2008. The flight will be Emirates’ longest; the outward and return journeys taking 17 and 15 hours respectively. Houston will be the airlines second US destination. It already operates a service to New York’s JFK airport.
