Pink Taxis to Hit Roads
August 31st, 2006The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority announced today that a fleet of pink taxis, exclusively for women, will hit the roads on 1st January 2007. The taxis will be driven by women and will be deployed at locations frequented by women such as shopping malls, hospitals and clubs.
The Dubai Metro will also have women-only carriages.

I like the name it suites women. i think its a brilliant thing to do .. a safer and more private environment for women.
