QE2 tickets sell out in just 36 minutes
July 3rd, 2007Tickets for the final voyage of the QE2 sold out just 36 minutes after going on sale. Earlier this month the luxury cruise liner was purchased by government-owned investment company Istithmar for $100 million. In September 2008 the ship will sail from Southampton to Dubai, where it will be anchored at the Palm Jumeirah and transformed into a luxury hotel.
