Six Flags files for bankruptcy

Six Flags, the US-based amusement park chain, has filed for bankruptcy protection.

In March 2008 it signed an agreement with Tatweer to develop an amusement park in Dubailand.

Tatweer, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding, says the theme park at Dubailand will not be affected by the development.

    i am a huge fan of theme parks specially the roller costers it real fun.. first of all am UAE Citizen, all the fun project that i ve hearded about dubailand still dream coming true and non of it came to the live except some few, but not that effect in attracting tourist.. as i believe since the announcement about the theme parks which will be held in dubailand such as sixflags (huge fan of it) till now we have not c single movements toward this precioues project.. dubiland must concetrate on kind of these project and move fast to finsh it (why wait.. trust me this kind of theme attraction will be shooting star for dubai touris attraction..cause of have a huge number of Teen and adults who will be attracted kind of those project.. Y we focus only in building and build more villas..Y we cannot focus on this theme park.. it will bring more people around the region to dubai..if u need more shooting star of dubai.. u need to harry fast build one these sixflags.. do not delays these kind of project.. people want have fun..not all to hang around mall and malls.. we have enough from shopping mall, we need real exusted fun.. take my word, focus in sixflags and finish as soon as possible or any theme park that will attractive…
