The first phase of the handover will comprise 515 residential units in seven buildings.
Lesley Sayle, Chief Property Officer, said ‘We are looking forward to welcoming the first residents of UPTOWN MotorCity in April 2009. consolidating properties that are bought by one investor? I have a genuine case where I don’t have the money to complete my full commitment; all I ask of them is to move the fund that I paid from one property to the other one making the final payment easier to manage, I am not asking for a discount I am just asking them to move my money to consolidate, other wise I am standing to loss both.
I think UP are still living in a long gone dream and give their buyers a nightmare to live with. Not fair not right and it is ruthless
If this development is so great they should not have an issue by reselling the other units that I have.

Why is Union property being to greedy and difficult when we ask them to consider consolidating properties that are bought by one investor? Union Properties has charted their own mess. They are arrogant and sgort sighted. Instead of holding hands with its customers and working out mutually beneficial solutions, the arrogance of the developer comes through strong and clear. Its needs to hold hands with its customers and revise the payment schedules which in turn will help UP to secure steady cash flows.

Dear All
I am a tortally hurted tenant in Motor city. Its the worst construction made by Union properties ever.Motor cityis a Jail like place.I had been living there with my husband since last 3 months. The construction materials used here is worst of the quality. I have consulted with my friend -a consultant. Can you think of living in apartment where Union Properties are not able to give basic facilites – AC water and electricity. There is no gym in motor city. Its hell, MOTOR CITYIS HELL OR JAIL. PLEASE do not spend money buying apartment here .More over these idiots charge high service charges comparing with Nakheel and other builders and i never slept peacefully in my house in motorcity. Many of our neighbours are planning to sue complaint againts union properties .The Union Properties guys are so arrogant
DONT BUY ANY APARTMENTS IN MOTOR CITY – STAY IN ANY OTHER PLACES OF DUBAI CONSTRUCTED BY NAKHEEL OR ZABEEL

Another stupid chill water provider – Emicool. We all paying money every month to emicool. We are not getting the damn chilling
This is hell. Its Ramadan, still there are many muslim families we are all struggling to live here
No mosque been constructed here.
Its been 2 months and i never lived peacefull in motorcity.I am planning to move to Dubai Marina or Jumeria where we get old apartments with atleast basic facilites
I recommend dont buy any Motorcity apartments.
Union properties are in deep trouble. They have made huge loses and charging heavily to the occupiers

Khaled,
Motorcity has come a long way since August. I have been living in Motorcity since December 2009 and it was nice so far.
I had my parents visiting me. I agree, the security are not very well organised and there are still no mosques. However, swimming pools are up and running and some even open at 6 am.
Emicool was bad in the beginning, but now it is good.
I have a friend who was living in JLT and is planning to move in here… you’re in the middle of action (with Dubai Auto-dorm and Go-karts also which is attracting people from all over dubai) in Foxhill there is Spinnes and there is a French pastery shop. (The owner, David, has sold his bakery in France and moved into Motocity! It has been long since I saw an owner running his own shop in Dubai)
All in all, I’d rate Motorcity 7/10, hopefull it will be even better soon.

I speak on the behalf of several Motorcity residents and we have big issues with Emicools unjustified rates. We tried to speak to them in person, but all we get are blank faces with no clarifications. They often come back to us telling us there was a fault leak in the AC but later on the rates go up with no justification. Also, they raised their rates 20% since Januray 2011. Someone needs to investigate this company and their activites.
To start with, we will initiate a list of a numerous people signing up on it and submit it to the government. We should be charged per consumption with clear rates, not as per their mood swings.
