Waitrose store opens at the Dubai Marina
January 19th, 2009Waitrose have opened a new store at the Dubai Marina Mall.
The 26,000 square feet supermarket is situated on the promenade level and carries a range of Waitrose branded products and a selection of John Lewis non-food items.
It is the second Waitrose store in Dubai. The first opened at the Dubai Mall in November 2008.

Yesterday evening was the first time I have visited a Waitrose store, the one in Dubai Mall.
I bought our weeks worth of groceries including a slice of pork pie. Which was for dinner with a salad.
The salad was very nice but the pork pie was very definitely off. The label said it was to be taken off the shelf on 24 January, today, but it was bad even on 23 January.
I would suggest that you have not trained your staff to recognise bad meat when they pack it.
I shall not be visiting your Waitrose store again.
