Jumeirah Beach Residence
The Jumeirah Beach Residence is a residential development that will eventually be home to over 25,000 people. Covering an area of 22 million square feet it is the largest single-phase residential project in the world.
The development consists of 36 residential towers plus community amenities such as nurseries and medical centres. The Walk, a 1.7 km 2-level shopping boulevard, will be home to more than 400 stores and restaurants.
There will also be a number of hotels here, including the Amwaj Rotana Resort, the Hilton Jumeirah Beach Residence, Ramada Hotel & Suites, and the Movenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach.

Don't knock it until you've seen it. I was there Oct 07 and have an apartment. It's a lovely place, like a mini town with great facilities.
To me it looks like kind of a 'Ghetto Town'. Who wants to live there? One tower to the next, and next to it the Hilton Hotel. And of course, soon the beach will be overpopulated. This project doesn't look nice.
The project has been hit by delays but the first apartments will be handed over to buyers over the next few months.
