Emirates Towers Boulevard
The Emirates Towers is one of the most iconic symbols of Dubai and comprises two skyscrapers, both with a triangular footprint. The taller tower stands 355 metres high and houses offices, including those of ruler Sheikh Mohammed, while the smaller tower is 309 metres high and is occupied by the 5-star Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel.
The towers are connected at ground level by The Boulevard, a shopping mall housing around 30 shops and a good selection of restaurants and bars. The two floor mall is one of the most exclusive in Dubai and caters to the rich businessmen and women that work in the area.
Patchi is a Lebanese company known for its gourmet chocolates and delicacies. Its boutique at the Boulevard can create individual boxes, hand-wrapped and decorated for any event or special occasion. A large choice of fillings and designs are available. Patchi chocolates contain no preservatives or artificial flavours and are produced using the finest quality natural ingredients.
The company hit the headlines in 2008 when it created the world’s most expensive box of chocolates for sale at Harrods in London. Retailing at £5,000 the suede box was filled with handmade 49 chocolates, each finished with a Swarovski crystal flower or a silk rose, and separated by gold and platinum dividers.
La Casa del Habano is the official store licensed by the Cuban state tobacco company to sell Cuban cigars worldwide. The franchise holder in Dubai, Baqer Mohebi Establishment, operates shops at various locations such as the Boulevard and Dubai Airport. All the top Cuban cigar brands are available including Partagas, Cohiba, Bolivar, Montecristo, Diplomaticos, Hoyo de Monterrey, Romeo y Julieta, Trinidad, H Upmann, and Vegas Robaina. Customers can rent humidor lockers to store their purchases.
Other stores at the Boulevard include Galerie Hamadan (Persian and Kashmiri rugs, pashmina shawls, etc.), Persian Carpet House (Persian rugs and carpets), Azal (multi-brand jewellery store), Cartier, Damas (watches and jewellery), Gilbert Albert (jewellery), Pomellato, Montblanc (luxury watches, jewellery, leather goods, and writing instruments), Harry Winston (watches and jewellery), Yateem Optician (designer frames and sunglasses), My Fair Lady (ready-to-wear and bespoke abayas), Ermenegildo Zegna, Lanvin, Rodeo Drive, and Flowers by Contempo (designer florists).
The Boulevard is also home to a number of upmarket restaurants and bars. Options include the Dubai branch of the famous London brasserie The Ivy (international), Harry Ghatto’s (upscale karaoke bar), The Agency (wine bar), ET Sushi (sushi restaurant), Hakkasan (Chinese), Mosaico (Mediterranean), The Noodle House (Asian), The Rib Room (steakhouse), and Tokyo@thetowers (Japanese).
Emirates Towers and The Boulevard are located on Sheikh Zayed Road, between the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Shoppers can park for free for one hour. Longer stays are charged at AED 20 per hour.
The nearest Metro station is Emirates Towers Metro Station. It’s situated on the Red Line and within easy walking distance of the mall and towers.
