The Dubai International Boat Show 2020 was scheduled to be held March 10 – 14 2020. It was postponed due to the pandemic. At the time of writing (June 2020) dates for the rescheduled event are November 24 to 28 2020. Check the official website before making plans.
The Dubai International Boat Show is the biggest and most popular marine industry exhibition in the Middle East.
The 2020 event runs for 5 days from November 24 to 28.
The marina and outdoor areas showcase hundreds of boats. Vessels range from small leisure craft to luxury superyachts. Watersports suppliers and manufacturers (jet skis, kayaks, surfboards etc.) also attend the show.
Indoor areas house a range of exhibitors including interior designers, yacht brokers, finance and insurance specialists, marinas, and equipment suppliers.
The show usually attracts in excess of 25,000 visitors. A significant proportion are high net worth individuals looking to splash out on a new toy. Many are mere mortals there to look and dream.
The venue this year is Dubai Harbour, a fantastic new development by Meraas. It’s located between Dubai Marina/Bluewaters and the Palm Jumeirah.
