Dubai is just great. I have been living here since 1992 and I've seen it grow over the years. Amazing development!

Dubai is wicked. It's fun and a brilliant holiday!

The best advise for getting around town. Do not even think about driving east along Sheikh Zayed Road between 6pm and 8.30pn. One frantic traffic jam as people head back to Sharjah. On Thursday the rush hour starts at about 2.30pm.

There's a lot of building work going in Jumeirah. To avoid this and get a taste of the real Dubai, try staying in Bur Dubai or Deira.
