The Faldo is one of the two courses at Dubai’s Emirates Golf Club (the other being The Majlis). It opened as The Wadi in 1996 but was in 2005 was redesigned by and renamed after golfing legend Nick Faldo.
The par 73 course measures 7,348 yards from the black tees and is fully floodlit in the evenings. Visitors are welcome to play the course.
Facilities include a golf academy and clubhouse with numerous restaurants and bars.

Emirates Golf Club is located in the ‘new Dubai’ close to Dubai Marina, the Palm Jumeirah, and Dubai Media City.
I played the Faldo course at night. It’s an unusual but interesting experience. Some of the fairways aren’t illuminated that well and the shadows created by the floodlights add an interesting twist. Not sure I’d do it again, but glad I tried it.
