The Montgomerie is a championship standard golf course located at Emirates Hills, one of the most exclusive residential communities in Dubai.
The par 72 links-style course was designed and named after legendary Scottish golfer Colin Montgomerie and measures 7,461 yards from the black championship tees. There are a further four tee boxes catering to different levels of proficiency (sapphire – 6,711 yards, emerald – 6,165 yards, and ruby – 5,417 yards).
Notable holes include the par 3 13th, designed to resemble a map of the UAE, and the par 5 18th, a 656 yard beast.
The Academy by Troon Golf is one of the finest teaching establishments in the Middle East. Facilities include a 9-hole par 3 course, swing analysis studio, and putting greens. Personal tuition from professional coaching staff is available.
Facilities at the clubhouse include a 5-star boutique hotel, 4 restaurants, a spa, fitness centre, and 2 golf shops.
