Golf clubs can often be intimidating for novices and frequently charge hefty membership fees. The Track is a new course that welcomes players of all ability and doesn’t require them to join. Anybody can literally just turn up and play.
The 9-hole course measures 3,700 yards from the back tees with forward tees for novices. The course is floodlit at night allowing golfers to avoid the intense heat in the summer months.
The clubhouse houses a restaurant plus a sports lounge with pool tables and big screen TVs showing top sporting fixtures.
The course opened in 2012 and is situated next to the Meydan racecourse, home of the Dubai World Cup.
