This multiplex cinema is located at Dubai Festival City Mall, a shopping mall at Dubai Festival City.
In 2017 redevelopment work saw the number of screens at Novo Cinemas Dubai Festival City Mall increase from 12 to 18. The new additions included IMAX and MX4D theatres.
Most theatres here offer Novo Cool and Novo Edge options. Novo Cool seats are the standard and cheapest in the house. Novo Edge edge seats are at the back of the theatre and offer a superior view.
MX4D screenings offer audiences an immersive experience. The seats move with the on-screen action and special effect generators provide additional sensations.
For the ultimate in luxury, choose to watch a movie in the Novo 7 Star theatre. You’ll pay around three times the price of a standard ticket but will enjoy premium leather seats, blankets and pillows, waiter service, and more.
Novo Cinemas Dubai Festival City Mall is located on Level 2 of the mall. The cinema offers its own food and beverage outlets, but there are plenty of further options around the mall.
Other attractions at Dubai Festival City Mall include the Fabyland entertainment complex and Imagine, a free laser and light show.
The cinema opened in 2008 as Grand Festival Cinemas. It changed its name in 2014 when Grand Cinemas rebranded as Novo Cinemas.
