The Old Souk (also known as the Textile Souk or Bur Dubai Souk) is a traditional souk with a large number of small stores selling a wide range of products including fabrics, clothes (including the UAE national dress), footwear, and souvenirs. Numerous tailors also ply their trade here.
The souk is located in Bur Dubai, on the southern side of the Creek. Visitors travelling by Metro can alight at either Sharaf DG Metro Station or Al Ghubaiba Metro Station. It’s also possible to reach the souk from Deira by abra (traditional water taxi).
