Mirdif is one of the fastest growing residential areas in Dubai. The area is home to Uptown Mirdif, a development by Union Properties.


Mirdif is a residential area with no hotels.

The closest hotels are the Desert Palm, a 5-star boutique hotel on Al Awir Road, the hotels at Dubai Festival City (InterContinental and Crowne Plaza), and the hotels in Garhoud and Al Qusais.

The Uptown Mirdif development by Union Properties offers a variety of townhouses and apartments.

Other developments in Mirdif include Shorooq by the Dubai Properties Group; 668 two, three and four bedroom villas and 1,428 studios, one and two bedroom apartments.


Uptown Mirdif offers a number of community shops including a Spinneys supermarket. The City Centre Mirdif mall offers more than 350 shops including a Carrefour hypermarket.

The DragonMart at International City and the Festival Centre at Dubai Festival City are just a short drive from the area.

Attractions & Entertainment

The Mirdif City Centre shopping mall features a 10-screen cinema, children’s entertainment centre, and a good selection of restaurants.

Over at Dubai Festival City the Festival Centre offers a multiplex cinema and a tenpin bowling alley. The Al Badia Golf Club is also here.


Schools in and around Mirdif include Al Mizhar American Academy, GEMS Royal School Dubai, Star International School Mirdif, Star International School Al Twar, Deira International School, and the Universal American School.


There are no Metro stations in Mirdif. The closest station is Rashidiya Metro Station (at the end of the Red Line). Feeder buses F10 and F3 depart from the station and serve Mirdif.
