Al Safa is a residential area in west Dubai, bordered by Umm Suqeim, Jumeirah, and Al Wasl. Facilities here are good, with plenty of schools, shops, and restaurants in or around the district.

Hotels
There is a good choice of hotels in neighbouring Umm Suqeim (Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel). Al Barsha and Downtown Dubai are also nearby and offer even more choices.
Real Estate
The vast majority of residential buildings in Al Safa are expensive villas.
Shopping
Al Safa boasts Spinneys and Park n Shop supermarkets. There is also a Union Co-op and a Choithram supermarket in Jumeirah. Downtown Dubai is also nearby and offers the Dubai Mall and Souk Al Bahar.
Restaurants
There’s a huge choice of restaurants and bars at the Souk Al Bahar and Dubai Mall in nearby Downtown Dubai. The Madinat Jumeirah also offers a great selection.
Attractions & Entertainment
Safa Park is just north of Al Safa in Al Wasl and is one of Dubai’s most beautiful open spaces.
Other attractions close by include the Burj Khalifa, KidZania, Dubai Fountain, and Wild Wadi.
Schools
The area has a good choice of schools including the Jumeirah English Speaking School, Jumeirah College, Jumeirah Primary School, and the English College.
Transport
The Sheikh Zayed Road runs along the western edge of Al Safa and offers a direct route to Jebel Ali, Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, and Bur Dubai.
Al Safa Metro Station in Al Safa 2 is on the Red Line and offers quick and easy access to most areas of the city.
