Baniyas Square Metro Station is located in the heart of the Deira area of Dubai. It is one of the busiest stations on the Green Line.
The station lies under Baniyas Square. Places of interest nearby include the Naif Souk and Al Manal Centre. The Dubai Creek is within easy walking distance. There are many hotels in the area (see list at the end of this page).

The station is in Zone 5 (click here to view a map of the Dubai Metro). Fares depend on the number of zones that you cross on your journey.

Trains on the Green Line go to Etisalat and Creek. Stops on the Green Line include Stadium, Union, Gold Souq, Al Ghubaiba, Sharaf DG, and BurJuman.

Passengers can transfer to the Red Line at BurJuman or Union.
The station has everything you need for a comfortable journey, including ticket offices, information desks, ticket machines, lifts and escalators to all platforms, a convenience store, retail outlets, as well as vending machines for snacks and beverages.

The station is also well-lit and air-conditioned, making it a pleasant place to wait for your train.
Live train times are displayed on electronic displays, making it easy for passengers to keep track of their journey.

There is also a display highlighting Dubai’s sister cities, which helps to promote cultural understanding and exchange between the different cities.

Adjacent stations on the Green Line are Union and Gold Souq.

Union is a transfer station. Passengers can transfer to the Red Line for services to destinations such as the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina, and Dubai International Airport.
Bus service 77 departs from outside the station and goes to Garhoud. Stops on the route include Union Metro Station, Deira City Centre Metro Station, Dubai International Airport, and Emirates Metro Station.
