Port Saeed is a neighbourhood in Deira, located on the northern bank of the Dubai Creek.
According to the 2021 Dubai Population Bulletin, Port Saeed has a population of around 14,241 residents, representing 0.41% of Dubai’s total population.
The neighbourhood is bordered by the waters of Dubai Creek to the south, Al Khabisi and Al Muraqqabat to the north, Al Garhoud to the east, and Rigga Al Buteen to the west. It stretches between the Al Garhoud and Al Maktoum Bridges. These busy bridges span Dubai Creek, connecting the Deira and Bur Dubai districts.
The Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club occupies a significant portion of Port Saeed. The club features a championship golf course, luxury villas, restaurants, a hotel, and a marina.
Transport
Port Saeed enjoys excellent transport links, making it easy for residents and visitors to navigate the area and beyond.
The E11 road runs along its eastern border, connecting Port Saeed to other parts of Dubai and the neighbouring emirates.
The area is well served by public transportation, with Deira City Centre Metro Station located at the heart of the district. The station is on the Red Line, offering direct links to various destinations such as Dubai International Airport, BurJuman, Karama, Dubai World Trade Centre, DIFC, Downtown Dubai (for Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall), Business Bay, Al Quoz, the Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Marina, and Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

Deira City Centre Bus Station is also located in Port Saeed. The station offers bus services to Sharjah via the E307 bus service. The bus station is conveniently situated near the Deira City Centre Metro Station, making it easy for commuters to switch between different modes of transportation.

Dubai International Airport lies just east of the district. The airport is easily accessible from Port Saeed via the Red Line metro or by taxi.

Port Saeed is a thriving business hub in Dubai, with several significant businesses headquartered in the area. One such business is Majid Al Futtaim, a leading Middle East, Africa, and Asia conglomerate specialising in developing and managing shopping malls, cinemas, and entertainment venues. The company was established in Dubai in 1992 and now employs over 40,000 people.
Another prominent business in Port Saeed is the Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD). Established in 1969, CBD is a leading banking institution in the UAE, offering a wide range of products and services catering to corporate, commercial, small business, retail, and Islamic customers.
The headquarters of both Majid Al Futtaim and the Commercial Bank of Dubai can be found at the junction of Al Ittihad Street and 8th Street, immediately north of City Centre Deira.

The mall is particularly popular with families, thanks to its multiplex cinema, children’s entertainment centre, and various restaurants and fast-food outlets. In addition to City Centre Deira, shoppers can explore the nearby Al Ghurair Centre in neighbouring Al Muraqqabat. This mall, Dubai’s first large shopping mall, has over 300 stores, including many international brands. Al Ghurair Centre has undergone a major renovation, giving it a fresh, modern look.
