This station lies on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro system. It is situated on Sheikh Zayed Road, between Barsha Heights (TECOM) and Dubai Internet City.
Dubai Internet City Metro Station is also convenient for passengers travelling to The Greens or Al Sufouh.

Feeder bus F35 travels from Mall of the Emirates Bus Station to The Greens. Stops on the way include Dubai Internet City Metro Station.
Feeder bus F56 goes to various destinations in Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, and Knowledge Village.
Bus service 88 also departs from here. It goes to Deira City Centre Bus Station. Stops on the route include the Madinat Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, Mercato, Max Metro Station, and Karama.
