Carrefour
Carrefour is a French hypermarket group with 4 stores in Dubai:
- Deira - Deira City Centre
- Al Barsha - Mall of the Emirates
- Al Mamzar - Century Mall
- Bur Dubai - Al Shindagha
All carry a good range of imported foods, plus TVs, computers, household appliances, mobile telephones, luggage, toys, camping and outdoor equipment, and more.

As a person who has his kids in the French school in Dubai I always buy their school items at Carrefour as recommended by the French school. I have been to two carrefour this year and noticed that the prices of the french school items are all over the place. There are items such as the "cahier seyes" for which there are two prices for the same item (one price is three times higher than the other). There are items for which the carrfour item price is more expensive than the same item from an english brand while usually the Carrefour item is much cheaper. There are items such as the seyes cahier de brouillon which cost 3.00 AED in City center, and more than 10 AED in the carrefour in Bur Dubai. Overall the prices do not make any sense. I have asked a Carrefour employee in city Center and she confirmed that many people have already complained about the same and that she has reported to management but no action was taken.
I would really appreciate if you could take action as we will be left with the only option of having our families buying them from our home country and sending them.
